
Daniel Long
Dr. Daniel Long, a clinical psychologist and board certified neurofeedback therapist, came to WVU in 2003 to complete his predoctoral internship and was subsequently hired the following year as a staff psychologist. In 2009, Dr. Long founded the West Virginia University MindFit Clinic, establishing WVU as one of the very first universities in the nation to offer a comprehensive program that employs both cognitive training and neurofeedback for students with ADHD and other cognitive concerns. In addition, Dr. Long previously held a secondary appointment with WVU Athletics and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of professional and collegiate athletes, including Olympic medalists and NCAA champions. Finally, Dr. Long is active in conducting research in the area of ADHD assessment and non-pharmacological treatment. Dr. Long joined the Office of Student Accommodations as Director in 2019.
