A new feature update for Kurzweil 3000 brings, Kurzweil 3000 - Read the Web Extension.
This feature allows you to download an extension in your browser and read the web
using the same voices you are used to using in the Kurzweil 3000 Web Browser application
including eCampus and eBooks.
After recording lecture content on a mobile device, you can transfer it to a traditional
computer to work with it using Google Drive as an intermediary. This may be necessary
to do while using computers that are on campus.
WVU Office of Accessibility trainings on assistive technology will consist of 1-2
hour long sessions focusing on Kurzweil 3000 and/or Sonocent. Students must sign
up for these training opportunities on their
SAMM account.

WVU Office of Accessibility trainings will consist of a 2-hour long sessions. The
first hour will focus on Sonocent Audio Note taker. The second hour will cover
Kurzweil 3000 and Fire Fly. Students are welcome to attend both sessions or just
one.
Columbia Light house for the Blind (CLB) is recruiting enrolled and post-graduate
students for a contract position at the Federal Correction Institution. CLB
is apart of the Ability One non-profit organization, who seek talented individuals

To better serve students, the Office of Accessibility Services has moved to the lower
level of Stewart Hall. The staff assists students with temporary and permanent
disabilities at all campuses. In addition to new space, the office has re-organized
to provide greater clarity and support to students with disabilities in authorizing
reasonable accommodations as well as assisting the faculty by answering questions
